reflections
The following are reflections I have written after completing an assignment or teaching a lesson. Both reflection exemplify KSA #15: Teachers engage in assessing the quality of their teaching as well as KSA #16 Teachers are able to communicate a personal vision of their own teaching.
Professional Semester 1:
This reflection entails how I myself worked through the Writing Process in creating my "I Am From" poem (found on the Writing Process Tab).
The following is a reflection I have completed in my First Professional Semester. This reflection exemplifies KSA #6: Teachers plan for instruction, translating curriculum and outcomes into meaningful learning activities, as it outlines the path of planning the lesson as well as my intent on making the learning activities meaningful for students.
Professional Semester ii:
The following document is a self-reflection completed prior to delivering my first unit plan (labelled reflection 1). It addresses my concerns and aids in the debriefing process prior to delivering the unit plan. The document that follows (labelled reflection 2) is a self-reflection completed after implementing the same unit plan. Both of these documents represent KSA# 15: Teachers engage in assessing the quality of their own teaching.

The following paper was completed as a requirement for an Assessment and Evaluation course completed in PS2. This paper allowed me as a teacher to think about what an inclusive classroom would mean to me and how I would ensure that all students were given an equal opportunity to a safe and caring, learning enriching environment. This reflects KSA #5: Teachers identify and respond to learner differences.
